NAMM 2010 January

The annual 4 day NAMM show [National Association of Music Merchants] held January 14th-17th 2010 was, as in recent years, once again a HUGE SUCCESS. Hundreds of musical equipment manufacturers, retailers, distributors - big names and new names, all converged on the Anaheim Convention Center for the sometimes overwhelming event. Take a convention center the size of three city blocks, that utilized three full floors, each segmented into four sections A-D, and the powers that be just jam-packed it with awesome displays, kiosks, demonstration booths, stages for LIVE performance, sound booths for private demonstration, and much, much more.
Celebrities were on hand in abundance to come help promote their sponsors or personal products, and the lines to get autographs were packed all day around those particular booths. Take a look through the photos just to see a glimpse of some of the artists who were on hand to help make NAMM 2010 even more awesome and spectacular. Drummers, guitarists, cellists, horn players, keyboardists - all insturments, all genres of music, from all over the world were on hand for the event.
All the big name manufacturers were there of course; Yamaha, Korg, Fender, Gibson, Tama, Pearl, DW, Regal Tip, Paiste, Marshall, Zildjian, just to name a few, and also some new up-and-comers out trying to cut their niche into the fabric of the very competitive music scene. This is THE event to be at to get your products seen, endorsed, and out there to the retailers all across the globe.
The event was not open to the public, so it was great to be there and cover it for 24 Seven's loyal readers and viewers to enjoy.
